Kauai Hiking Trails: Na Pali Coast to Waimea Canyon Adventures

Aloha! I'm Jade Kawanui, and these trails have been my backyard since I could walk. I've watched the sunrise paint the Na Pali cliffs gold. I've felt the cool mist from Mount Waiʻaleʻale on scorching afternoons. I've seen the island wake up from atop the Sleeping Giant.

These aren't just dirt paths to me. They're the veins of our island. Each one has its own pulse and spirit.

People call Kauai the "Garden Isle" for good reason. Our home is dramatic beauty at its finest. Ancient fluted cliffs plunge into turquoise water. The wettest spots on Earth feed impossibly lush rainforests. A canyon so vast and colorful earns the nickname "Grand Canyon of the Pacific."

Many websites give you trail lists. I want to give you more. I want to share the feeling of the ʻāina (the land). The stories whispered on trade winds. The real advice you need to experience this magic safely and respectfully.

This is my Kauai. I'm honored to share it with you.
