The only living history coffee farm in the US, experiencing life as it was for Japanese immigrant farmers in the 1920s-40s. Less about tasting, more about history that gives incredible context to the entire Kona coffee story.

KCC Farmers Market, Diamond Head
Oʻahu's premier farmers market with huge gathering of farmers, chefs, and food producers. Saturdays 7:30am-11am. Get there right when it opens for best selection and parking.
Kakaʻako Farmers Market
Large, trendy urban market with over 140 vendors and live music. Saturdays 8am-12pm. More spacious than KCC, great for relaxed brunch.
Honolulu Farmers Market
Popular weeknight market favored by locals. Wednesdays 4pm-7pm. Less touristy, very authentic place to see what locals buy and eat.
Kauaʻi: The Abundance of the Garden Isle
Kauaʻi is the oldest of the main Hawaiian islands, and you can feel that ancient history in its soil. Called the "Garden Isle" for good reason, its landscape is draped in emerald valleys and lush rainforests. This is an island of profound abundance, where the cultural roots of agriculture run deep, especially when it comes to kalo.

Lydgate Farms, Kapaʻa
3-hour guided tour through botanical gardens with extensive tropical fruit, honey, vanilla, and chocolate tastings. Mon-Fri tours at 9am-12pm, from $145. Comprehensive tasting tour, come with appetite for discovery.
Kauai Coffee Company, ʻEleʻele
Largest coffee farm in the U.S. with free self-guided walking tours and paid guided truck tours. Visitor Center open daily, guided tours from $45. The free walking tour offers excellent photo ops of the vast scale.

Kauai Culinary Market, Poʻipū
Upscale market at The Shops at Kukuiʻula with high-quality produce and chef demonstrations. Wednesdays 3:30pm-5:30pm. Great place to enjoy afternoon with food stalls and cooking demos.
Grove Farm Market, Līhuʻe
Popular Saturday morning market focused on local farmers and produce. Saturdays 9:30am until supplies last. Serious market for locals, get there right at 9:30am.
ʻĀina Kauaʻi Restaurant, Kapaʻa
Award-winning restaurant serving exquisite Japanese cuisine with farm-fresh Kauaʻi ingredients. Dinner service, reservations essential. Praised as one of the best restaurants on the island.
Molokaʻi & Lānaʻi: A Taste of Old Hawaiʻi
To visit Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi is to take a step back in time. These islands offer a glimpse of an older, quieter Hawaiʻi. Here, agritourism isn't about large-scale, polished tours. It's about authentic, personal connections with small family farms and community markets where you can "talk story" with the farmers themselves.

The island's only farmers market held Saturday mornings. Saturdays 8am-1pm. Small but vital part of the Lānaʻi community, great way to support local growers.
Lānaʻi Cat Sanctuary
While not a farm, this beloved non-profit home to hundreds of rescued cats is a huge draw for animal lovers. Open daily, donations encouraged. Wonderful, heartwarming stop for agritourism visitors who love animals.
